In 2012, Dr. Shweta Jain and Philanthropist Shri Krishan Kumar Jain founded EyeMantra with the goal of improving eye care standards in India. The team at EyeMantra sees itself as providing world-class eye care to all segments of society at low prices. For free eye treatment of the underprivileged, everything earned by EyeMantra is donated to the EyeMantra Foundation (NGO).
The foundation has helped treat over 1.2 million patients and has performed over 100,000 eye surgeries since its inception. It has also established 5 permanent eye care camps in rural areas, which provide free check-ups and treatment to those in need.
